GMBK Creator Agreement

Effective October 17, 2026.

This agreement applies when you upload a game to GMBK through the creator portal. It adds to the Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be 13 or older to upload. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. To withdraw gift earnings or prizes you must be 18+ and connect your own PayPal account.

2. What you can upload

  • HTML5 / WebAssembly games that follow the size and file-type limits shown in the portal.
  • Games you made, or have the right to publish, including every asset (art, music, fonts, code, libraries) and the licenses they need.
  • Games that follow the Community Guidelines.

Not allowed:

  • malware, crypto miners, tracking scripts
  • code that escapes the sandbox or reaches outside the game's own files
  • attempts to collect passwords or payment details
  • copyrighted material you don't own
  • gambling with real money inside a game
  • games that target or exploit children

3. Review

Every upload is automatically scanned.

  • Games that pass go live immediately.
  • Games that are flagged wait for human review.
  • Games that fail are rejected.

GMBK may remove, hide or decline any game at any time, including after it's live, for example after player reports. GMBK has no obligation to host any game.

4. License you give GMBK

You keep ownership of your game. You give GMBK a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • host, copy, compress and deliver it to players
  • show it in feeds, search and the Daily
  • record and show gameplay, thumbnails and clips to promote it and GMBK

The license ends 30 days after you delete the game, except for clips players have already shared, and copies in backups for a limited time.

5. Remixing

If you turn on remixing for a game, other creators can download its source from the portal, change it and publish their version. You give them a non-exclusive license to do that. GMBK shows a "remix of" credit linking to your original. Turning remixing off stops new remixes; it doesn't remove ones already published.

6. The Daily and challenges

  • GMBK may feature your live game in a Daily round at no cost to you.
  • If you create a "beat my score" challenge, the prize is held from your wallet when you create it. It's paid to qualifying players after GMBK reviews it, or returned to you if nobody qualifies. Any player can win; withdrawing the prize needs 18+ and a connected PayPal account.

7. Gifts and earnings

  • Players can send gifts to creators. You receive 70% of each gift's price (the share is shown in the portal and may change with 30 days' notice). GMBK keeps the rest to cover costs.
  • Earnings land in your GMBK wallet. You can withdraw them to your connected PayPal account (18+), subject to the minimum, review, and the tax rules: a W-9 and a 1099 when you reach $600 in a year.
  • You're responsible for your own taxes. GMBK may hold earnings it reasonably believes came from fraud, chargebacks or breaking this agreement.

8. Data you receive

The portal shows aggregate analytics: plays, play time, retention, likes and ratings. You won't receive personal information about players, and you may not try to collect it from your game.

9. Your promises

You promise that:

  • you have all the rights needed to publish the game
  • the game doesn't infringe anyone's rights or break the law

You'll cover GMBK's reasonable costs from claims caused by your game breaking this agreement.

10. Ending

You can unpublish or delete your games at any time. GMBK may end this agreement or suspend your creator account if you break it. Sections 4 (for content already shared), 7 (for amounts already owed) and 9 survive.
